The HPE™ BlueHorizon™ is highly sophisticated flatbed system for high performance electrophoresis (HPE) under reliable temperature control applying thin foil-supported gels, pre-cast or lab-cast. It can be used for all kinds of horizontal electrophoresis like IEF, 1D SDS and native PAGE, DNA fragment PAGE as well as high resolution 2D PAGE. The unit consists of a stable metal housing and an integrated drawer with cooling plate to run gels at a temperature as low as 4°C.
